11 years! it's our birthday

I realised today that on new years eve 2000 - I returned home early from Chrismas at Bundaberg (family and fishing)

The reason I returned was because the restored-classics website and my computer might have been affected by the millenium bug. the original car club site was then at www.gladstone.8m.com (I think it still links to a ford page)

I just did a quick calculation and we are eleven years old . .

I think this new forum . . is the perfect birthday present for us all

It has taken a mere 11 Years. to evolve - The Forum would never have arrived without Royal simply because Forums can be notoriously time consuming. The old 'one man' site formula could not handle a forum.

Now we have two sites. Integrating the two should be great fun! and we all get a new forum to play with.

We intend to have some nice user perks. . (as soon as we all work out what button it is in here we are supposed to push to make it all work)
